Coming soon · For hair salons

Give every salon appointment a clear place in the day.

A cut, a colour appointment and a finish ask different things of your team’s time. Whenlet connects the service, the stylist and their working hours in one booking plan. Keep service lengths and prices clear, plan around time off, and give customers a booking page they can use in their browser.

Plan the whole visit, from service choice to the next booking.

Give customers an understandable choice and give your team a schedule that reflects the service being offered.

Plan the full time for the service you sell

  • The daily problem: A long colour appointment needs a different booking space from a trim or a blow-dry. Preparation between visits also takes time.
  • With Whenlet: Define the full service duration and add preparation time before or after it. Use the service names your customers recognise.
  • Example flow: Create “Colour, cut and finish” as a 90-minute service with 15 minutes after it. A start at 11:00 leaves the next planned start at 12:45. These are illustrative timings for one configured service.

Connect services to the stylists who offer them

  • The daily problem: A customer choosing a colour service needs to see the team members who provide it. Your stylists may also have different working hours and service lengths.
  • With Whenlet: Match services to individual stylists and set their own hours, durations and prices where appropriate.
  • Example flow: Assign the colour service to the relevant stylists, then check each person’s working periods. The booking choice follows that service and stylist rather than assuming the whole team works identically.

Be clear when a price needs a conversation

  • The daily problem: Some services have a set price; others need a conversation about the work involved. An unclear listing can create the wrong expectation before the customer arrives.
  • With Whenlet: Set a service price or mark it as price on request. Use individual prices when the same service differs by stylist.
  • Example flow: Publish a fixed price for the defined haircut and use price on request for a service that needs discussion. Review the wording alongside the duration so the customer understands both.

Keep a short day or a day off out of the plan

  • The daily problem: A stylist leaving early or a salon closing for a holiday changes which longer visits fit into the day.
  • With Whenlet: Combine salon opening hours with personal working schedules, full-day or hourly time off, and special opening days.
  • Example flow: Set a shorter working day for one stylist and add the salon’s holiday closure. Check the duration of the colour service against the working period before offering a start time.

Make the appointment details easy to return to

  • The daily problem: Customers may book ahead and later need to check the time or understand how far in advance they can cancel.
  • With Whenlet: Share a booking page with service and time choices, set your cancellation window, and send reminders 24 hours before, 2 hours before, or both.
  • Example flow: Add the booking link to your salon profile, choose the reminder timing and write down your cancellation rule. Keep that rule consistent with the way your team explains appointments.

Keep the team’s plan close while you work

  • The daily problem: Salon work happens away from a desk. Checking a stylist’s hours or updating a service should not depend on being at the reception computer.
  • With Whenlet: Work in the iPhone or Android app or the web panel. Invite staff with controlled access and decide whether they can change their own hours and time off.
  • Example flow: Check the team plan on your phone between visits. Update a service when needed; Whenlet asks before you leave unsaved changes, so you can decide whether to keep editing or leave.

Questions from the salon

How do I plan a service that includes colour, cut and finish?
Create the service you sell and set the full duration needed for that visit, plus preparation time if needed. Use that complete booking length when planning the stylist’s day.
Can the same service have a different duration or price for each stylist?
Yes. Connect the service to the stylists who provide it, then set individual durations or prices where needed. Each stylist’s own hours and time off help determine when the service fits.
What if I need to discuss the price before confirming a final amount?
Use price on request for that service instead of showing an amount that may not apply. Give the service a clear name and planned duration, then discuss the work and price with your customer.
Can my team and I use Whenlet away from reception?
Yes. Use Whenlet on iPhone, Android or the web. Staff access is separate from owner access, and you control whether a staff member can edit their own working hours and time off.
Is joining the waitlist the same as opening a salon account?
No. Whenlet is coming soon. The waitlist is for early-access and launch updates, not a live product account. The linked privacy notice explains how the waitlist information is handled.
