Lessons and teacher availability, planned together.
A 45-minute piano lesson, a 90-minute driving lesson and an hour of language tutoring each need a teacher who is free at that time. Whenlet brings your lesson types, every teacher’s hours and your bookings into one schedule. Plan around holidays and time off, and give students a booking page they can use in their browser.

Plan lessons around the teacher and the time.
Start with the lessons you offer and who teaches them. Then fit bookings around the hours each teacher actually has.
Give every lesson type its own length
The daily problem: A trial lesson, a standard lesson and an exam-preparation session rarely last the same time.
With Whenlet: Set a duration for each lesson type and add time before or after it, for preparing materials or getting to the next lesson.
Example flow: Create “Driving lesson, 90 minutes” with 15 minutes after it. A lesson at 14:00 leaves the next planned start at 15:45. This is an illustrative setup, not a measured result.
Match students with the right teacher
The daily problem: Only some teachers cover a given instrument, language or level, and students usually stay with one teacher.
With Whenlet: Connect each lesson type to the teachers who give it, with their own durations and prices where they differ.
Example flow: Assign “Guitar for beginners” to two teachers and “Music theory” to one. Students choose from the lessons and teachers you have defined.
Plan around terms, exams and holidays
The daily problem: Teaching weeks change around public holidays, exam periods and school breaks.
With Whenlet: Enter holidays and special days ahead of time, and record full-day or hourly time off for each teacher.
Example flow: Add the spring break as a closure, give one teacher a shorter schedule in exam week and check the following week before agreeing new lessons.
Fit after-school and evening hours
The daily problem: Most lessons happen after school or work, often with a quiet stretch earlier in the day.
With Whenlet: Split each teacher’s day into up to six working periods, within your school’s opening hours.
Example flow: Give a tutor 10:00–12:00 and 16:00–20:00 on weekdays and Saturday mornings only. Another teacher can keep a completely different week.
Make lesson times easy to remember
The daily problem: A lesson moved to a different day is easy to miss, for students and for the parents who bring them.
With Whenlet: Let students or parents choose a lesson and time on your booking page. Send reminders 24 hours before, 2 hours before, or both, and set your cancellation window, up to a week.
Example flow: Share the booking link with a new student’s family. The reminder brings the lesson details back before it starts.
Give each teacher a clear workspace
The daily problem: A teacher should be able to manage their own time without access to every school setting.
With Whenlet: Invite teachers by phone number, keep owner and staff access separate, and decide whether staff can edit their own hours and time off.
Example flow: Invite a part-time language teacher as staff and let them record their own time off. Lesson types and school hours stay with the owner.
Questions from teachers and schools
Can different lessons have different lengths?
Yes. Each lesson type has its own duration and optional preparation time. A teacher can also have their own duration and price for the same lesson.
Does Whenlet track student progress, grades or payments?
No. Whenlet plans lessons, teachers and times. It does not keep progress notes, grades, attendance or payments. Keep those in the tools you already use.
Can I plan group courses with a fixed number of seats?
Whenlet is built around booked appointments with a teacher and a time. It does not manage course enrolment or seat limits. If your school runs fixed-capacity courses, check at early access how Whenlet fits alongside them.
Can a private tutor use Whenlet alone?
Yes. Set up your own lessons, hours and holidays, and share a booking page with your students. Invite other teachers later if you grow into a school.
Is Whenlet available now?
Whenlet is coming soon. Join the waitlist for early-access and launch updates. Joining the list does not create a product account or book a lesson.
